Job Title: Offshore Inspection Engineer
Location: Offshore, with support from Aberdeen
Salary: Up to £68,000 with 150 days offshore

Job Purpose:
As an Offshore Inspection Engineer, you will be crucial in preparing and executing onshore and offshore projects. Your responsibilities will include managing online data recording systems, editing and quality-controlling offline data for structural and pipeline inspections, and ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of data collection. You will collaborate closely with a team of Inspectors, Surveyors, Engineers, Data Processors, and ROV personnel, maintaining clear communication with the team onboard and occasionally with clients. You will receive ongoing support from the Client Deliverables Team based in Aberdeen throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

Assist in project preparation activities both onshore and offshore
Ensure the effective operation of inspection and survey equipment
Collect and quality-control data efficiently and accurately
Communicate regularly with the team onboard the vessel and with clients as needed
Collaborate with the Client Deliverables Team to ensure project support
Ensure the safe, efficient, and profitable execution of all ROV platform and vessel-based inspections
Quality control of real-time video data and completion of data sheets
Report anomalies promptly and accurately
Assist in project reporting and documentation, adhering to client specifications
Promote teamwork and ensure effective communication, especially during shift handovers

Key Skills/Attributes & Experience:

Minimum HND level qualification in Engineering or IT
Valid CSWIP 3.4u or 3.3u certification
Previous offshore experience working with ROVs as an Inspection Engineer or Coordinator in UKCS
Proficiency in MS Office
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team and manage shift handovers seamlessly
