About Us: Major Recruitment is a leading recruitment agency providing high-quality staffing solutions across various industries. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced 360 Excavator Operator to join one of our main contractors for a project based in Edinburgh, EH3.
Job Role: As a 360 Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating an 8-ton plus excavator to perform a variety of tasks including digging, trenching, and moving earth or other materials. Your role will be critical in ensuring the timely and efficient completion of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a 360 excavator (8-ton plus) safely and efficiently
Perform excavation, trenching, and earthmoving tasks as directed
Conduct pre-operational checks and regular maintenance of the excavator
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Collaborate with the site team to ensure project milestones are met
Report any machinery defects or issues to the site supervisor immediatelyRequirements:
Valid CPCS or NPORS card for 360 Excavator (8-ton plus)
Proven experience operating a 360 excavator in a construction setting
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations on construction sites
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethicBenefits:
