We are seeking a dedicated Data Cabling Engineer to be a key player for our clients team, based in Swindon. 

Key Responsibilities

For the role of a data cabling engineer you will be responsible for installing, terminating, and testing Cat6a cabling at a high level in a client's regional distribution centre, here are the typical responsibilities:

Cabling Installation: Install Cat6a cables according to industry standards and client specifications. This includes running cables through conduits, cable trays, and other pathways as required.
Termination: Properly terminate Cat6a cables at both ends, ensuring correct wiring and connection to outlets, patch panels, and other network devices.
Testing and Certification: Conduct thorough testing of the installed cabling using appropriate equipment such as cable testers and certification tools. Ensure that the cabling meets performance standards and specifications.
Communication: Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to provide updates on progress, address any concerns, and coordinate work activities as needed. Skills and Experience

UKATA asbestos awareness
