Clinical Lead Nurse
Petworth Cottage Nursing Home are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead Nurse to join our dynamic nursing team and care team.
Overlooking the beautiful town of Petworth and picturesque South Downs we offer a bright and cheerful home for Residents and staff alike. We pride ourselves on offering a warm, caring atmosphere complemented by modern facilities. Rated Good by CQC we are registered for up to 32 residents.
As a Clinical Lead, you will be working closely with the nursing and care team in shaping and supporting the delivery of high- quality care for our residents.
You will work alongside the registered manager in managing the home and deputise in their absence. You will ensure quality improvement and development, this will include undertaking regular audits of all aspects of service delivery, collecting areas of best practice, implementing required improvements, evaluating impact and providing quality assurance.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the support for individuals in all areas of their lives. These will cover the following areas:
* Clinical Care including physical and psychological support
* Person centred support planning
* Auditing and quality assurance
* Staff mentoring and people management
We are looking for someone with;
* Experience in mentoring and supervising others
* NMC Registration
* Palliative Care experience
* Proven clinical nursing experience
* Sound knowledge of workings of the Care Quality Commission
* A full UK driving licence
