About the Support Worker Role:

As a Support Worker, you'll provide assistance to children and/or adults facing complex learning, physical, and behavioral challenges within community, supported living, or residential care settings. Whether you prefer Early, Late, Long Day, or Waking Night shifts, you have the flexibility to choose the hours that suit you best – from just a few shifts a week to more intensive involvement.

Your responsibilities will encompass behavioral support, including de-escalating challenging behaviors, as well as physical care (such as personal hygiene and use of hoists) for adult clients. Additionally, you'll assist with domestic tasks like meal preparation and light housekeeping. Rest assured, we'll provide the necessary training and support for your success in this role.

Support Worker Requirements:

- Relevant experience in social care, including roles as a Care Assistant, Care Worker, Support Worker, or Teaching Assistant, or enrollment in related courses.

- Ability to work a selection of Early, Late, Long Day, or Waking Night shifts (not mandatory for all).

- Friendly, organised, proactive, and sociable demeanor.

- Willingness to support individuals with complex needs, demonstrating patience and empathy.
