Groundworker & Labourer
Location: Forest Gate, East London
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £140- £160 per day depending on experience

Working hours: 8am-4.30pm, Monday to Friday (weekend work available)

My client is a building company specialising in extensions, basements and refurbishments and they require an experienced labourer / groundworker for their expanding business.
They are a growing, positive business that focus on their employees welfare as well as providing excellent customer service to their clients.
About the Role
As the company continues to grow and secure new projects, they are looking for a reliable and hardworking Labourer/Groundworker to join the team. This role will primarily oversee projects in East London, particularly in Forest Gate, Wanstead, and Walthamstow.
Key Responsibilities:
* Basement work including excavation and underpinning, under the supervision of other senior members of the team.
* Mixing of mortar and concrete for bricklayers and general builders.
* Experience with steelwork and underground drainage helpful.
* Clearing waste and filling skips.
* General labouring and assist with various other tasks on construction sites.
* Maintain and clean work sites before, during, and after construction tasks.
Requirements:
* Previous groundwork and labourer experience essential.
* Valid driver’s license required.
* Proof of Right to Work in the UK required.
* Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Romanian is beneficial.
* Ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labour tasks.
* CSCS Card preferred but not essential.
* Minimum of 2 employer references.
