The Role- Behaviour Mentor

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Behaviour Mentor to work with our Internal Exclusions Unit Manager in our on-site pupil referral unit. The successful candidate will be required to work collaboratively with teaching staff and the unit manager in the planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources. You will be working with small groups of students who have been excluded from the Academy for a fixed term period and assisting the unit manager and teaching staff in enabling students to access the curriculum as fully as possible during this fixed term period.

The School- Behaviour Mentor

This is a school in the North of Hackney for boys and girls aged 11- 19 and provides a world-class education in a state-of-the-art building. The Academy opened in 2010 and is on a journey from Good to Great and this has been confirmed by Ofsted in May 2022. Recruiting an experienced Behaviour Mentor is crucial to the success of this journey. The school is close to multiple transport links to ensure ease of travel.
