Job Description:
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with complex needs? The lovely, forward thinking school is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team in September 2024. As a Teaching Assistant, you will have the unique opportunity to work with a wonderful Key Stage 4 (KS4) class, comprised of 5 students and a collaborative team of adults!
Responsibilities:
Provide general support to the KS4 class, contributing to the creative and inclusive learning atmosphere.
Collaborate with the class Teacher and fellow team members to implement engaging and tailored educational activities.
Support the diverse needs of students with a variety of complex needs, fostering their personal and academic growth.
Encourage creativity, resilience, and a positive mindset within the classroom.
Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).Requirements:
Passion for working with students with special educational needs, and a desire to pursue a rewarding career in SEN.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
