Role: Sales Representative
Location: WFH/Frequent European Travel
Role Type: Permanent
Salary: Up To £133k base sales bonus (equivalent of up to £170k)
Role Responsibilities:
* Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the logistics industry at existing clients. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of leads through proactive prospecting and networking.
* Solution Selling: Understand the unique challenges and pain points faced by logistics companies. Effectively articulate the value proposition of our IT solutions to address these challenges and meet customer needs.
* Consultative Sales: Take a consultative approach to sales by conducting thorough needs assessments and providing tailored solutions to prospects. Develop a deep understanding of customer requirements and objectives to deliver customized proposals and presentations.
* Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target accounts. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights and recommendations to optimize their logistics processes through technology.
* Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure. Coordinate with internal teams, including solution architects and implementation specialists, to deliver seamless and successful implementations.
* Revenue Generation: Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals set by the company. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to maximize revenue growth and market penetration within the logistics IT sector.
* Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the logistics IT market. Leverage market insights to refine sales strategies and identify new business opportunities.
* Mentors: teaches, and shares best practices with others.
You will have:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Logistics Management, or related field.
* Proven track record of success in B2B sales, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in selling software or IT solutions to logistics companies.
* Strong understanding of logistics operations and supply chain management principles.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers.
* Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for exceeding targets and driving business growth.
* Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events. Fluent in English, German and French are a plus.
