The Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Financial Controller to join a dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial operations, ensuring the sustainability and growth of the charity. Key Responsibilities

Oversee all financial aspects of the charity, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Prepare timely and accurate financial reports for the board, senior management, and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards, including charity-specific financial legislation.
Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, ensuring transparency and accountability in all financial matters.
Work closely with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that support the charity's mission and objectives.
Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.About You

Qualifications: ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent.
Experience: Significant experience in a financial management role, within the charity or not-for-profit sector.
Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in financial software and systems.
Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
