Job Description:
Position Overview: They are seeking a skilled and experienced Lighting Assembly Operative to join their esteemed team. This role involves not only hands-on assembly and wiring of our exquisite lighting fixtures but also supervisory responsibilities to ensure that our high standards of quality and craftsmanship are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lighting Assembly & Wiring:
* Assemble and wire high-end lighting fixtures, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
* Troubleshoot and resolve any wiring issues, ensuring all products meet quality and functionality specifications.
* Supervisory Duties:
* Oversee a small team of assembly operatives, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain efficient workflow and high-quality output.
* Coordinate daily tasks, monitor progress, and ensure team adherence to project timelines and company standards.
* Quality Control:
* Conduct rigorous inspections of completed assemblies to verify the quality and craftsmanship.
* Implement quality control processes and provide feedback to the team to continually improve assembly techniques and outcomes.
* Collaboration:
* Work closely with the design and production teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
* Provide technical advice and support to colleagues, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
* Inventory & Maintenance:
* Manage inventory levels of assembly components, tools, and materials, ensuring availability and timely replenishment.
* Maintain assembly tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition and report any maintenance needs promptly.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in lighting assembly and wiring, preferably within the luxury or high-end market.
* Previous supervisory experience, with the ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.
* Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
