Job description:
Linux Migration
* Responsibilities revolve around indicated key qualifications: network configuration, OS management, creation and maintenance of automated deployments and pipelines, package management
* Documentation, set up network environment, understand current systems, follow client specs (client heavily involved in design) while also be able to provide suggestions based on their experience and expertise
Requirements:
Skills: CentOS, Automated Deployment, RHEL 8&9, Containerization, Kubernetes, Linux, Network Configurations, Package Management, RedHat Satellite Server, Security-Enhanced Linux, Security Hardening
Knowledge of RHEL 8&9 , CentOS and security hardening thereof.
Deep knowledge of network configuration including firewall and SElinux.
Knowledge of Yum package management and dependencies resolution for applications
Knowledge of building and configuring RHEL Satellite Server and integration requirements in an air-gapped environment.
Knowledge of Kubernetes and containers/containerisation
Knowledge of automated deployments and pipelines relating to all of the above. Experience in maintenance of desirable.
Ability to work in a distributed team, with multiple stakeholders across functions, business units
Ability to communicate task information with clients
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* University degree or equivalent education and experience
* Minimum of 5 years domain experience
