Supporting my clients UK grid scale storage delivery business, the role will involve a focus on battery energy solutions, grid scale, as well as some potential for solar and other activities, such as EV infrastructure.
The person will work as part of a small dynamic team to help with the delivery of projects in the battery energy storage sector. The role will also be based from home, however, the expectation will be that the successful candidate will spend the majority of time on-site during the delivery phase.
The ideal candidate will possess relevant experience within the quality space, whilst possessing either a NEBOSH certificate (General or Construction), or IOSH Managing Safely.
Responsibilities & Duties:
• Lead on QHSE issues from Client’s perspective on delivery projects, from project Kick-off to final take-over, in line with company expectations on safety, quality, cost, time and risk management.
• Ensure that all QHSE cases are reported in a timely and concise manner within the QHSE management software (DNV Synergi).
• Ensure all QHSE cases are actioned appropriately, and that these actions are tracked and monitored, including those that are the responsibility of relevant Contractors/SubContractors.
• Secure resource (internally or externally) to complete the tasks defined in a gated delivery process.
• Visit sites, meet landowners, attend external meetings, public engagement events as required.
• Ensure quality of project is met by verification and recording of FAT/SAT/SIT and other commissioning test results and any associated non-conformances
