We need someone who is highly organised, who pays great attention to detail, with strong IT skills, confidence with numbers, and the ability to manage and prioritise your own tasks. You will sit at the heart of our team bringing administrative excellence to the organisation.
We are the National Paralympic Heritage Trust (NPHT), a dynamic young charity and company, formed in 2015 to protect and share British Paralympic Heritage, reaching over half a million people in its first few years. We have embarked on a new exciting five-year strategy – ‘Becoming Seamlessly Inclusive (Apply online only)’ - with an aim to reach a million people worldwide and this role provides an exciting opportunity to join our team as the Trust’s Company Administrator to help us on this journey that is of national significance.
The vision for the next 5 years is exciting and ambitious, drawing on our strengths, widening the historical collections, and delivering a range of engagement across the UK and overseas. We’ll ensure that the theme of inclusion, across the full range of Paralympic sport, shapes what we deliver, how we deliver it and to whom we deliver it, as well as well as being flexible enough to respond to new opportunities.
A key role in this vision is an experienced, adaptable, and enthusiastic Administrator to provide an effective and efficient support function. You will be responsible for maintaining and creating administration processes to support a busy, diverse and dynamic team. You will be the first point of contact into the NPHT, responding to queries, organising group bookings, dealing with day-to-day finances, providing event support that is both face to face and online, maintaining our permanent museum displays, co-ordinating the environmental action plan and office management. You’ll also lead on the organisation and minuting of key meetings, which will see you working closely with the Board of Trustees and the CEO.
The role will be part-time, 24 hours a week, working across five days, Monday-Friday. The role will be based at Stoke Mandeville Stadium and will be office based with the option of working 2 days a week at home. During busy periods you may be required to be in the office more often. There will be opportunities for support and personal development.
