We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Primary Supply Teacher to join our team on a full-time basis, providing general cover within a primary school setting in Tavistock for Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2).

Role Overview:

As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting the education and development of young learners. Your responsibilities will include delivering engaging lessons, managing classroom behavior effectively, and fostering a positive learning environment conducive to academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering high-quality lessons across Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2) in line with the national curriculum.
Providing general cover for absent teachers, ensuring continuity of learning for students.
Managing classroom behavior effectively to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Differentiating instruction to meet the diverse needs of students and promote academic progress.
Collaborating with colleagues and school leadership to contribute to the overall success of the school community.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Previous experience working as a Primary Teacher, ideally across KS1 and KS2.
Strong behavior management skills and the ability to create a positive classroom culture.
Passion for education and making a positive impact on young people's lives.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school environments.
