Company Overview: We're working with a leading construction firm specializing in major infrastructure projects across the UK. With a commitment to excellence and innovation, we are proud to be at the forefront of shaping the nation's infrastructure landscape. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Site Agent to join our team for a significant highways project based in Yeovil, with an earthworks package valued at £11 million.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the successful delivery of the earthworks package on a major highways project, ensuring adherence to project specifications, budgets, and timelines.
Coordinate and manage on-site activities, including subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel, to ensure efficient and safe execution of works.
Implement and maintain robust health, safety, and environmental procedures in accordance with company standards and statutory regulations.
Liaise with project stakeholders, including client representatives and engineering teams, to provide regular updates on project progress and address any issues or concerns.
Utilize NEC contract management principles to effectively administer the contract and resolve any contractual matters that may arise.Requirements:

Proven experience as a Site Agent or similar role, ideally within the highways or civil engineering sector.
Extensive experience in earthworks construction, including excavation, embankment construction, and soil stabilization techniques.
Strong understanding of NEC contract management principles and previous experience working with NEC contracts.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with a range of stakeholders.
Strong leadership capabilities, with a track record of successfully managing site teams and subcontractors to deliver projects to the highest standards.
Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or construction management are highly desirable.Benefits:
