StaffCo Direct is actively recruiting for Class 2 driver for a company based in Wootton Bassett.
We are looking for highly motivated qualified Class 2 driver, with handball experience, who can take on the company’s ethos and assist us in the support of our client’s day-to-day operation in Thatcham.
Remuneration:
Monday to Friday AM - £19.50
*Please note that the above rates are Assignment rates*
Responsibilities of Class 2 driver in Thatcham:
This will involve pallet delivery, local deliveries.
Handballing is involved. Majority palletised and forklifted off. Pump Truck used also.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
Communication is key with the client, must be able to contact at all times of day
Start times between 04:00 & 08:00
Experience/Skills & Competencies:
Cat C UK-issued License is required (Must have license for at least 12 months)
Current and Valid CPC and Digi Tacho
No more than 6 penalty points (no IN DR or DD codes)
180 days experience in the last 2 years
Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
Great communication skills
Professional attitude
