StaffCo Direct is actively recruiting for Class 1 Shunter drivers for a company based in Yate.
We are looking for highly motivated qualified night drivers with a valid licenses, who can take on the company’s ethos and assist us in the support of our client’s day-to-day operation.
Rates:
£21.50 per hour ( umbrella assignment rate )
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday - 14:00 - 00:00 shift
Responsibilities:
Using a tug to move trailers around the yard
Backing trailers on and off bays
Working with the transport team to ensure a smooth operation
Experience/Skills & Competencies:
HGV1/ LGV1 UK-issued License is required (Must have license for at least 12 months)
Current and Valid CPC and Digi Tacho
No more than 6 penalty points (no IN DR or DD codes)
Experience using a Terbery vehichle
Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
Great communication skills
Professional attitude
