Class 1 (C + E) HGV Driver
We are working with a client who is seeking for more HGV Class 1 (Cat C + E) drivers to add to their team, working on varied fleet of solid-side box trailers, curtain-sided trailers, low-loader and flat-bed trailers, completing general haulage inclusive of retail, manufacturing and construction to pharmaceuticals, food and agriculture.
Main responsibilities:
* Being accountable for the safe and timely delivery of goods on the vehicle
* Being responsible for securing the goods in the vehicle and unloading at each drop
* Perform daily checks on the vehicle and trailer and keep the vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members
* Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Experience:
- Class 1 (Cat C + E) driving experience (1 year minimum for insurance purposes)
- Valid CPC
- Clean driving record
Location:
Wrexham
Salary:
£14 - £18 PH, 8 hours minimum paid per shift
Holiday pay accrued separately
Working Pattern:
Monday to Friday, alternative days (varied start times) and nights (varied start times)
Weekend shifts available.
