The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and results-oriented individual to lead a technical team in achieving operational excellence within the food manufacturing sector. You will play a pivotal role in:

* Building a Strong and Empowered Team: Foster a collaborative and unified team environment, motivating and engaging staff to deliver exceptional performance.

* Ensuring Food Safety & Quality: Collaborate in creating and implementing the food manufacturing industry's food safety and quality strategy, upholding all relevant accreditations and legal standards.

* Driving Continuous Improvement: Develop and execute a plan to establish a strong food safety and quality culture, emphasising right-first-time principles and optimising processes for efficiency within the food production environment.

The Ideal Candidate

* Technical Expertise: Degree/Diploma in a relevant science-based discipline or extensive experience in technical management within food manufacturing.

* Proven Leadership: Experience in leading and motivating teams to achieve ambitious goals.

* Food Safety & Quality Champion: Strong understanding and knowledge of food safety & quality principles, HACCP, and GMP as applied within the food manufacturing industry.

* Excellent Communicator: Ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
