Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant – Permanent - Telford
We are recruiting for a new permanent, full time Accounts Assistant in Telford to join a thriving SME in Central Telford. This permanent position will suit someone with a proven finance background and a stable work history.
Duties within this role include:
* All Purchase & Sales Ledger activities & enquiries
* Checking and chasing invoices
* Digital Filing
* Raising and processing invoices
* Processing Payments
* Petty cash and company debit cards
* Bank Recs
* Credit control
* VAT Returns
* Payroll support
* Preparing monthly accounts to draft stage
* Reporting
To be considered for this role, you will have a mature approach, have excellent communication skills – written and verbal, a professional manner, be efficient, methodical, persistent, confident and be able to work to very high levels of accuracy.
AAT qualification is ideal but not essential, as is experience of working with Xero.
You MUST have a stable work history to be considered for this role.
The site is commutable from Telford, Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton, Perton, Shifnal, Bridgnorth and Market Drayton etc
