Mechanical Supervisor - Water

Introduction:

Our client, a renowned company in the water industry, is currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Supervisor to join their team on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage mechanical installation projects in the water sector.
Coordinate and supervise the work of mechanical technicians and contractors.
Ensure that all mechanical installations are carried out to a high standard, in line with industry regulations and company policies.
Ensure the availability of the necessary equipment, materials, and tools for the successful completion of projects.
Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily reports, site documentation, and quality assurance documents.
Identify and address any issues or challenges that may arise during project execution.
Collaborate with other teams, such as engineering and operations, to ensure smooth project workflow.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Job Requirements:

Significant experience in mechanical installations, preferably within the water industry.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and materials.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and stakeholders.
Understanding of health and safety regulations and the ability to enforce compliance on-site.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in mechanical engineering or a related field.
