A long established heavy manufacturing company based in the heart of Birmingham require a Steel Mill Operative for their state of the art casting and rolling business!.
Annual Salary: £29,000 to £32,500
Rotating Shifts: 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm to 6am
Job Role:
Loading coils onto machines using overhead cranes,
Following written instructions, recording process details,
Using automated controls to process the material,
inspect coils for quality,
Basic computer usage.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in working in an industrial environment and using one's own initiative.
Candidates who hold a Fork Lift counterbalance truck preferred but not essential
Must have a solid work history
