Business Development Manager

My client is currently recruiting a Business Development Manager to join their renowned business based in Birmingham.

Benefits:

Salary up to £35,000 + £2,000 Bonus.

Hybrid role - in office and in the field.
Hours of work - Mon - Thurs 08:30am - 17:00pm, Fri 08:30am - 16:00pm

33 Days Holiday (Inclusive of Bank Holidays)

Duties:

Identifying new prospects as well as engaging current customer base with product offerings.
Negotiating terms of sales and agreements and closing sales with customers.
Gathering market and customer information to figure out the customer needs.
Responding to customer queries and resolving their objections to get them to make a purchase.
Liaising with internal departments to create bespoke quotes for customers.
Following up on sales that have not converted.
Usage of the internal CRM system to engage with active, lost, and lapsed customer base.

Skills/Experience required:

Previous experience working within a Field Sales or Business Development role.
Industry experience not important, just the desire to win business.
Strong negotiator with the ability to handle objections.
Ability to think outside of the box.
