WE ARE: a small, dynamic company desigining, developing and making complex mechatronic components for an exciting range of prestigious automotive OEMs and technology companies.
This post is ideal for someone who has already learned the procedures and jargon of design engineering and project management in a fast-paced automotive OEM or 1st Tier supplier. You will need this to be able to fit into the team and work effectively from day one.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:
* Working with customers and alongside the Engineering Manager to create specifications for new products;
* Creating and updating design rules and benchmarking data;
* Creating models, drawings and bills of materials and delivering to specification and project timing plans;
* Working with members of other teams to ensure quality targets are achieved;
* Working with the Engineering Manager to creat alternative engineering and/or material solutions where possible and required.
* Taking concepts from the beginning through to manufacturing.

Experience/Qualifications Requirements:
CATIA V5, MINIMUM 2 YEARS' post education/training experience of designing automotive components IN AN OEM OR TIER 1 SUPPLIER
Excellent communication at all levels
Excellent problem solving skills and ability to use appropriate tools where necessary
Ability to meet deadlines whilst working on multiple projects
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to conduct FMEA
