A Receptionist & Administrator is required to join a manufacturing company based in Lye. Managing a busy reception area, you will be responsible for meeting and greeting all visitors on-site, operating the switchboard as well as providing administrative support to the Sales Office. A full-time role, you will be required on-site Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week.
In this role as a Receptionist & Administrator, you will be -
Operating a busy switchboard, handling queries and transferring calls through to relevant departments
Preparing the reception area each morning - ensuring sign-in sheets are available, setting the TV's and ensuring awareness of all expected visitors each day
Meeting & greeting all visitors to the reception area and directing them appropriately after arrival
Redirecting deliveries and collections to dispatch area
Managing post - opening, franking and stamping daily external post and distributing incoming mail
Receiving dispatch notes and matching to order acknowledgments
Producing invoices, checking invoice figures and ensuring everything in invoiced by month-end
Chasing export carriers & customers for evidence of export and record accordingly
Any other associated administrative duties as requiredIdeally for this Receptionist & Administrator role you will have -
Previous experience operating a switchboard
Prior Receptionist experience
Excellent customer service - both face to face and over the phone
Microsoft Office experience & Sage
Good time management skillsOn offer for this role -
Full time site-based working hours
Hours of Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm with an 1pm finish on Friday
Starting salary of £22,500 - 25,000p/a
