Position: Level 2 or 3 Qualified Teaching Assistant
Location: Cradley Heath, West Midlands
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
Start Date: September 2024
The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work across Key Stage 1 classes, supporting teachers in delivering high-quality education and fostering a positive learning environment. This role requires experience in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and a genuine affinity for working with younger children. Additionally, we are seeking candidates who are confident in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly those with undiagnosed needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide support to teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons
* Assist in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) for SEN pupils
* Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet the needs of all learners
* Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of pupil progress
Requirements:
* Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
* Experience working in EYFS settings
* Confidence in working with younger children
* Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of SEN pupils
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
