EXPERIENCED TRANSFER STATION MANAGER / OPERATIONS MANAGER TO OVERSEE HAZARDOUS WASTE MANAGEMENT & RECYCLING OPERATIONS
TITLE:– Operations Manager - Hazardous Waste Management & Recycling
SALARY: £42-50K DOE plus up to 10% bonus and benefits
LOCATION: Walsall area
HOURS: 40 per week office hours (some occasional flexibility required)
PREVIOUS TITLES: Contract Manager / Operations Manager / Technical Manager / Waste Manager / Hazardous Waste Transfer Station Manager / Senior Site Chemist / Transfer Station Supervisor / Senior Technical Assessor
ROLE: Operations Manager - Hazardous Waste Management & Recycling
You will oversee the receipt, bulking and processing of hazardous waste materials
Direct management of circa a dozen staff with dotted line to more
You will ensure safety and environmental compliance are withheld on site
You will be involved in P&L Management for the site
EXPERIENCE: Operations Manager - Hazardous Waste Management & Recycling
You will have 3 years’ experience working at a hazardous waste management site with line management responsibility for staff during that period
WAMITAB / COTC is highly desirable or willingness to train, as is CIWM affiliation
IOSH or NEBOSH desirable
