The Company
This leading manufacturing and engineering company based in the Midlands, renowned for their innovative solutions and commitment to product quality are seeking an experienced Plant Quality Engineer to join their busy and growing Quality Team. Reporting directly to the Head of Quality, you will be responsible for providing the necessary competence and expertise to support the Organisation and to ensure products and processes meet the required quality standards.
The Role
The Plant Quality Engineer will support all necessary activities to improve quality, minimise costs and drive improvements to support business goals and customer satisfaction and is responsible for supporting quality issues and for required participation to ensure zero impact to the customer. You will ensure compliance and assist with adherence to the Quality Management system (IATF / TS16949 / ISO9001) and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in order to adhere to process and prevent occurrence of any non-conformity relating to product, process or system and providing feedback to the business.
The Person
As an experienced and proven Quality Engineer within a manufacturing engineering environment you will demonstrate sound problem solving ability using known methodology (i.e. 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa etc.) and hands on experience of core tools (including MSA, SPC & ISIR) and GD&T principles is essential. You will be a hands-on engineer who is keen to resolve issues and deliver best in class processes and systems within the business and then ultimately in to the customers final products.
