A well-established special school in Castleford that caters for children aged from 4-12 is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their growing team. The school is looking to offer the selected candidate a full time, long term placement to start in September.
The children at this school all have autism, learning disabilities and challenging behaviour, so the school is looking for a Teaching Assistant who is able to build a strong rapport with their pupils and act as a positive role model.
As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
To support the class teacher with the day-to-day running of the class.
To support pupils to complete tasks set by the class teacher.
To support with behaviour management where needed.
