Job Role: Secondary Teaching Assistant

Location: Huddersfield (HD3)

Contract: Mon-Fri 8:30am-15:30pm

We are seeking Teaching Assistants across Huddersfield to support a Secondary School in HD3. The successful candidates will be supporting pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4 and assisting the Class Teacher with lessons and resources. You must have previous experience supporting children in a childcare setting and preferably, children aged 11-16. 

In this role applicants will be expected to have clear communication skills and be able to show strong capabilities of relationship building with students. Additionally, applicants will be expected to provide 1:1 tutor support and host interventions with smaller groups of students who need further support.

Requirements:

Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
Have an overseas criminal clearance or willing to apply for one
Have a child enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one
Previous or relevant experience working with SEND children
Minimum of three months UK residency
We do not accept those on skilled worker visas

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
