We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our leading engineering client based in Huddersfield. As a key member of their team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various plant and machinery, ensuring top-quality service for our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out maintenance and repairs on a variety of plant machinery, including CNC and manual machine tools, fabrication equipment, and overhead cranes.
* Overhaul, upkeep, and repair all plant machines, including PLC controlled equipment.
* Diagnose faults and implement cost-effective solutions.
* Maintain and manage machine documentation and records.
* Install new machines and equipment as required.
Requirements:
* Completion of a recognised mechanical engineering apprenticeship.
* Proven experience in maintaining and repairing a range of plant machinery.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* This role offers excellent career development opportunities overtime will be required as per business needs.
The role would be Monday - Thursday, over 37 hours per week, with every Friday off!
