A Highly rated specialist school in Leeds is looking for an SEN TA for a full time, long term temporary role (term time only). This school is committed to creating an imaginative, flexible and inspirational curriculum which enables each student to succeed and mature into happy, healthy, resilient learners. This is a fabulous opportunity for a Teaching Assistant that enjoys working on a 1:1, small group and whole class basis. Roles and responsibilities

The right candidate will be working with young people and children with a range of Special Education Needs: PMLD, Autism and ADHD. The school are looking for a confident, creative and empathetic person that can build positive learning relationships with young people.

To have previous experience of working in schools with SEN pupils or similar transferable experience
Patient, passionate and professional
Managing students with challenging behaviour
Confident, punctual and eager
To be able to manage behaviour effectively and build positive learning relationships with SEN Pupils.
Excellent communication
Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
