Accelerate Teaching, an esteemed educational agency dedicated to fostering excellence in teaching and learning, is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant at a vibrant Secondary School in Leeds. We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to support our students in their academic journey, starting in September 2024.
This role presents a unique chance to make a profound impact on the lives of young learners and contribute to their educational development. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced educators to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment where every student can thrive.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing one-on-one support to students, assisting with classwork and homework assignments.
Collaborating with teachers to plan and implement engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) and implementing individual education plans (IEPs).
Promoting positive behaviour and fostering a supportive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
Utilising innovative teaching strategies and resources to enhance the learning experience for all students.
Assisting with administrative tasks and maintaining accurate records of student progress.The ideal candidate will possess:
Previous experience working with children or young people, preferably in an educational setting.
A genuine passion for education and a commitment to supporting the academic and personal development of students.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
Adaptability and resilience in the face of challenges, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
