Sharp's Consultancy are thrilled to be working with a leading global Manufacturing company based in Rotherham.
Due to the continuous growth, they are looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to work closely with the Finance Controller across all departments.
If you are AAT qualified or working towards the qualification and looking for a role where there are opportunities for progression then this is a fantastic role for you.
Key Skills:
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Confident with IT software
- Strong analytical mathematics skills
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Able to prioritise and adapt effectively to changeable workload
- Confident working within a fast-paced Finance department
Duties:
- Data entry
- Processing sales invoices & VAT coding
- Reconciliations of supplier statements
- Bank & credit card reconciliations
- Credit control & credit limit checks
- Accruals and prepayments
- Covering payroll as and when required
- Balance sheet & monthly stock reconciliations
- Internal auditing
- ONIS reports
- Support annual audit process
- Preparing monthly management accounts
- Any other ad-hoc duties
