Part time SEN roles in York
The Role
Vision for Education are working closely with a friendly SEN School in York to support them with their recruitment for the next academic year.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an SEN support worker to support the classroom staff over lunchtimes - working 5 days per week; 11.30am - 2.00pm
The successful candidate will support with feeding and personal care while engaging and interacting with pupils with various special educational needs and disabilities.
The Person
We're looking for a calm and caring person, ideally with experience in working in care or SEN. Reliability and full commitment to the role are essential.
The successful candidate will be required to hold or apply for an enhanced DBS registered on the update service. Training / experience of Moving and handling would be beneficial but training can be provided if needed.
The School
This friendly and supportive school on the outskirts of York caters for children with various special educational needs and disabilities, aged 2 - 11 years.
