Responsibilities
Create relationships with clients and guide them through the case process from intake to settlement
Formulate treatment plans for clients ensuring they are receiving the best possible care
Monitor cases by verifying client attendance; observing, evaluating and communicating treatments and responses; advocating for needed services and entitlements; obtaining additional resources; intervening in crisis; providing the utmost professional support
Maintain client records by reviewing case notes; logging events and progress
Communicates client progress by conducting weekly interdisciplinary meetings and evaluations.
Request medical records, mail, scan and track government claim forms and manage the resolution of property damage claims
Draft legal documents such as letters of representation and preservation of evidence
Ensure client file is complete for demand and potential litigation
Maintain client confidence by keeping client/attorney information confidential
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferably in criminal justice, sociology, or related studies preferred but not mandatory
1-3 years of case manager (pre-litigation) experience preferred but not mandatory
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent telephone customer service etiquette and support
Superior time management and capable to handle multiple cases at once
Excellent communication skills (verbal, listening and written) and effectively organized
Knowledge of Microsoft Suite and Google Workspace
CASEpeer legal management software experience a plus
Team-oriented and independently capable
A strong desire to expand knowledge of personal injury law
