A global aerospace manufacturer is undergoing a sustained period of growth and as a result they are looking to make two hires - Supply Chain Coordinator - to join their team in Chatsworth, California on a temporary basis (6-months). They have various sites across the world and are looking to do a collective group turnover of $1 billion by 2025. As a global leader in aerospace, this opportunity will allow you to work with world leading customers in the aircraft, civil, and defense industries including Boeing, Airbus, and more!
THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SUPPLY CHAIN COORDINATOR WILL INCLUDE:
* Proactively manage communications, maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
* Utilize our ERP system, Visual, to generate RFQs.
* Perform precise data entry and manage document control through various tickets.
* Develop and oversee Excel spreadsheets, and prepare comprehensive drawing packages.
* Facilitate new vendor integration by creating onboarding packages.
THE SUCCESSFUL SUPPLY CHAIN COORDINATOR WILL POSSESS:
* A minimum of high school diploma, bachelors degree preferred
* A detail-oriented attitude with a knack for professional communication
* Outstanding organizational skills and proficiency in business software, particularly Excel.
* Basic office skills, including email management and general professional etiquette.
* A proactive and curious nature, ready to take initiative and work independently or as part of a team.
* Knowledge of Supply Chain processes (not essential)
