As an Engineer for the Accounting & Revenue team on the Lending Platform, you will help build out a platform to handle the accounting, revenue recognition, and related functions for our credit products. Our platform is responsible for everything from accurately recording and reporting financial operations and transactions to data-crunching jobs that process millions of dollars in payment events every day. You will operate on the critical path of all our lending products to empower internal engineering teams to more quickly deliver new features and help accounting/finance teams understand the impact of these products on the business.
You will:
Help deliver major initiatives to expand access to credit for our sellers.
Help us build the future of our accounting and revenue platform.
Provide technical leadership and direction to the team, ensuring that engineering best practices are followed.
Lead and participate in critical technical, design, and product discussions with leaders across our various product, data science, operations, engineering, accounting, treasury, and reconciliation teams.
Oversee the success of your team's projects and deliver quantifiable results.
Learn and understand multiple complex financial instruments to model commonalities between them,
Participate in ongoing training to maintain current knowledge of BSA/AML and perform BSA/AML duties as required.
