Maintenance Manager

Job Description
Directly supervises employees in the Engineering department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. 
As a Maintenance Manager, you will:
Execute the strategic vision and direction for the Engineering department, aligning with the resort's overall goals and objectives
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the maintenance team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence while enforcing accountability
Implement, train, and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and employees
Assist in managing the Engineering Department’s budget, reserves and capital expenditures, P&L reviews, and forecasting expenses
Participate in the development and management of maintenance programs, procedures, and schedules to optimize the department’s efficiency
Support the planning and execution of major capital improvement projects, from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to quality standards, budgets, and timelines
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and areas for improvement
Liaison with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to facilitate efficient and cost-effective maintenance operations
Manage the procurement and inventory of all tools and materials purchased and/or assigned to the Engineering Department
Develop documents using Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and PowerPoint
Communicate professionally through radios, phones, emails, and verbal communications
