POSITION SUMMARY
 ATS’ IT Consultants are professionals of all levels who are self-motivated, excel in client relations and are passionate about IT. In this role as part of the operations team, you will have responsibility for managing a variety of processes, and systems that ATS uses and provides to our clients. This is an internal position that will require interaction with clients when needed. The ideal candidate is a senior engineer who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and a constantly evolving network. If you have experience working for an MSP, you have seen the challenges of managing multiple client environments, and have the passion to ensure environments are configured, secured, and monitored in an optional fashion, this is likely a good fit for you.
 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establish a formal onboarding process for new clients to ATS systems and tools.
Build technical solution recommendations for client and internal ATS environments.
Establish processes to implement and maintain consistent configuration baselines across internal and external client systems.
Partner with client managers and business development teams to improve customer experience, service delivery quality and drive business growth.
Develop a scalable strategy for server and Office 365 backups of client environments, including documentation, alerting configuration and auditing of configuration
Develop a scalable multi-tenant hosting environment for ATS clients.
Oversee the management of multi-tenant network and system monitoring systems (NMS) for clients
Manage Microsoft 365 baseline configurations for client environments
Leverage monitoring statistics and trends from client system performance to continuously improve performance.
Proactively monitor overall health of network and server infrastructure, which includes, but is not limited to, backups, patching, threat management software and overall health of server systems and network devices
Manipulate data from various sources and integrations with excel or scripting
Generate required documentation during audits
Participate in developing and maintaining technical documentation associated with client environments
Assist with developing automated processes
Present a security mindset at all times
Ability to identify technical and process gaps within client environment configurations and provide remediation action items
Ability to work individually and in team environments both internally and with clients to formalize client systems and project implementation and migration plans
Ability to work as part of a team to solve problems
Self-starter, maintaining a positive attitude, who is always looking for a way to do things better
