Job Description
AECOM is seeking an Transportation Engineering Manager to be based in Meridian, ID.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Regional transportation engineering expert on providing technical leadership and guidance in a specialty, providing strategic planning to increase our profitability within area of expertise.
Keeps informed of new developments and requirements within state infrastructure affecting the organization for the purpose of recommending changes in programs and applications.
Uses creativity, foresight and mature judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented technical problems. Interprets, organizes, executes and coordinates assignments.
Makes decisions independently on technical problems and methods, and represents the organization in conferences to resolve important questions and to plan and coordinate work.
Develops standards and guidelines for use throughout the company. The knowledge and expertise required for this level of work usually results from progressive experience.
Supervision received is essentially administrative, with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits.
