Gastroenterology Physician

Job Description
Physician is responsible for providing comprehensive gastroenterology care, including but not limited to:
In and Out Patient clinical and surgical care.
Clinic, Operative, and Surgical Care: Provide comprehensive clinical Gastroenterology services including the diagnosis and treatment of Gastroenterology disease and surgical procedures. Typical procedures include EGD, Colonoscopy, Endoscopic Ultrasound & ERCP’s.
Intraoperative Follow-up: Be present in the endoscopy suite for all Gastroenterology procedures. ·
Consultative Services at patient’s bedside if the patient is not ambulatory and, in the clinic, setting if the patient is able to report to the outpatient clinic.
Medication management as per all facility policies and procedures.
Provide discharge education and follow up instructions that are coordinated with the next  care setting for all Gastroenterology clinical or surgical patients.
Administrative work relevant to care provided, job performance, or facility organization.
