Sigma Defense is seeking a Special Project Manager to serve as the special projects coordinator and business analyst providing managerial support and subject matter expertise to the Program Management Office (PMO) in the operation of assigned mission areas.
The duties span broad and various elements of acquisition and logistics, requiring the incumbent to be able to exercise a wide range of technical expertise and knowledge to gain PMO approval to plan, develop, implement, review, analyze, measure, and improve all aspects of Component/unit maintenance and logistics effecting the successful, efficient, and timely completion of assigned projects.

Requirements
Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Level 1 certified (any discipline) (Level 2 certified (any discipline).
5 years' experience as a staff officer or an aviation officer OR in aviation logistics or aviation maintenance management.
Personnel Clearance Level:
Candidate must possess an active, DoD issued TS/SCI security clearance.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Engineering, or an Aviation discipline.
Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):
Serve as special projects coordinator and business analyst providing managerial support and subject matter expertise to the Program Management Office (PMO) in the operation of assigned mission areas.
Provide executive-level staffing actions and briefings for all integrated logistics support programs, evaluating priorities in relation to strategic plans and recommend corrective actions, and developing logistics support plans for all mission design systems and related subsystems.
Provide analysis, problem identification and recommended solutions for the Unit's most difficult, complex, and critical maintenance processes, conducts independent or coordinated studies to identify, evaluate or recommend solutions to management problems.
Provide recommendations for issues that require new procedures resulting in changes to established work methods.
Provide input and recommendations to the PMO towards the direction of automated and database business analysis tools, modeling and concepts including Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
Performs routine clerical, administrative, and logistics tasks as required.
Salary Range: $157,000 - $189,000 annually.
