Registered Nurse - Hem/Onc Infusion - Part time

 HireNow Staffing is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Hematology/Oncology Infusion team in Boston, MA, on a part-time basis.  As an RN in Hem/Onc Infusion, you will provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing infusion therapy for hematologic and oncologic conditions, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being throughout treatment.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Position: Registered Nurse, Hem/Onc Infusion Part time

Responsibilities:
Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, and supportive care medications as prescribed by physicians
Assess patients' physical and emotional status before, during, and after infusion therapy
Monitor patients' vital signs and laboratory values, recognizing and responding to any adverse reactions
Provide patient education on treatment regimens, potential side effects, and self-care strategies
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and optimize patient care
Requirements:
Current RN licensure in the state of Massachusetts
Minimum of one year of experience in oncology or infusion therapy
OCN certification preferred
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
Must-Haves
1 One year of RN experience
2 Must have an active or pending Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license or the ability to obtain one.
Nice-To-Haves
1 More than 2 years of experience
2 Recent Step down, med surg, or ICU experience
