£30,000 - £35,000 PA depending on experience on permanent

Full time- 8am -5pm Mon- Fri while on Temp

12 weeks Temporary to Permanent

£14.40 - £16.80 per hour while on temp

My client is currently seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating transport operations efficiently.

responsibilities:

* Plan and coordinate transport routes to ensure timely delivery of goods

* Utilise IT systems for route planning and scheduling

* Analyse data and prepare reports using Excel

* Provide leadership and guidance to transport staff

* Liaise with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders

* Manage logistics operations effectively

* Demonstrate computer literacy in various software applications

* Deliver exceptional customer service at all times

Experience:

* Proven experience in transport planning

* Proficiency in IT tools such as Excel, Word, and Outlook

* Strong drive for achieving operational efficiency

* Excellent leadership skills to guide a team effectively

* Effective communication skills to interact with various stakeholders
