Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for providing mechanical and building services engineering maintenance to our client's properties.

Your duties will include fault finding, repairs, maintenance, and installation tasks across various client sites.

Your primary objective will be to ensure the seamless operation and reliability of building services, thereby supporting the client's purpose through high-quality service performance.

Collaboration and adherence to Health and Safety protocols are essential in this role.

You will work closely with a cohesive team dedicated to delivering outstanding service to our clients while maintaining compliance with all safety regulations.

Your expertise and attention to detail will be crucial in identifying and resolving issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to the client's operations.

Key Responsibilities

* To undertake the day-to-day PPM and reactive maintenance of Scottish Power sites to ensure their functionality, compliance and efficient operation

* Ensure that routine maintenance is carried out to all building plant, equipment and systems to meet and exceed expectations and agreed service level agreements

* Ensure that all electrical systems are maintained to NICIEC standards

* Ensure water systems are maintained to comply with the requirements of the L8 ACOP

* Ensure the compliance of equipment and detailed record keeping for all tasks

* Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out maintenance

* Issue permits to work for high risk activities and ensure appropriate controls are adhered to

* Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared for all tasks carried out to ensure safe working practices

* Ensure that engineering subcontractors are appropriately supervised, comply with contractual commitments and site operating processes

* Develop a good working relationship with all members of ISS staff and clients staff

* Ensure the provision of a safe & healthy working environment and ensure compliance with all Company and Client policies and procedures

* Contribute to a call out rota for the mobile team by being available for call out when designated

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

* Experience in a similar position

* Excellent knowledge of the operation and maintenance of electrical services, plant and equipment

* Educated to a minimum of City and Guilds or equivalent in an electrical discipline

* Completion of a recognised technical training scheme, apprenticeship (or equivalent programme) in Electrical Engineering

* 18th Edition IEE Regs
