Swift Temps has joined forces with a premier provider of top-notch furniture manufacturer.

We're in search of a skilled Upholsterer to join the team of artisans. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, a passion for craftsmanship, and the ability to transform furniture with precision and creativity. As an Upholsterer, you'll be responsible for:

* Reupholstering various furniture pieces, including sofas, chairs, and ottomans.

* Assessing furniture for necessary repairs and restoration.

* Selecting suitable fabrics, padding, and materials to achieve desired outcomes.

* Cutting, sewing, and fitting fabric to furniture frames.

* Using traditional and modern upholstery techniques to ensure quality and durability.

* Collaborating with clients to understand their preferences and specifications.

* Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7am to 4:30pm; Friday, 7am to 1:30pm

Salary: Starting from £35,000, with potential to earn over £45,000 annually

Requirements:

* Proven experience in Upholstery or similar roles.

* Proficiency in upholstery techniques, including fabric cutting, sewing, and stapling.

* Knowledge of various fabric types, padding, and materials.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

* Excellent communication and customer service skills.

* Creative problem-solving abilities.

* Physical stamina and dexterity to handle heavy furniture and tools.

* Upholstery certification or relevant training is advantageous.
