Year 1 Teacher - Manchester

We need you in Septmeber! Tradewind are currently seeking a Year 1 teacher. This position will commence September 2024 on a full-time basis.

The competitive pay rate for this position is between £140 and £210 per day, depending on experience.

Year 1 Teacher
The successful and independent teacher will be responsible for a class which includes a pupil with specific medical needs. You will be supported by a Teaching Assistant.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Develop compelling lessons that adhere to the KS1 National Curriculum guidelines and complement the school's creative curriculum.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of age-appropriate expectations for KS1 students, providing appropriate scaffolding and challenges to optimize individual educational outcomes.
Maintain accurate records of data, conducting analyses to identify areas for reteaching and address learning gaps, ensuring consistently high levels of attainment.
Cultivate positive relationships with all students, fostering an environment of trust and mutual respect.
Collaborate seamlessly with Teaching Assistants, key stage colleagues, and wider staff, actively sharing advice, resources, and best practices to enhance overall teamwork and effectiveness.
Essential Requirements:
-QTS (Or an equivalent teaching qualification)
-Excellent references to support previous experience in KS1
-A CV that covers the last 10 years employment history with any CV gaps explained
-The right to work in the UK
