As our Lead Planner, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing a small team while working closely alongside the Supply Chain Manager. Your duties will be diverse and impactful, ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes. Here's what you'll be doing:

Maintain the accuracy of daily production schedules across all departments, setting achievable targets.

Utilize capacity planning tools to recommend necessary adjustments to production rates and line configurations, optimizing available labor resources.

' Evaluate the impact of expedited orders on production plans, providing crucial feedback to Customer Service Specialists.

Analyze performance metrics, sales orders, and forecasts to identify risks and recommend corrective actions to the Supply Chain Manager.

Over the first year, work towards developing and maintaining a Master Production Schedule, minimizing past due orders.

Foster the growth, mentorship, and development of the planning team, nurturing talent within our organization.

" Collaborate closely with the purchasing team to communicate material shortages and ensure timely availability to meet production schedules.

Implement and refine planning processes and methodologies to enhance on-time delivery performance.

To excel as the Lead Planner you'll need:

Proven experience in a similar position within an engineering manufacturing environment.

Competitive salary ranging from £45k to £55k, complemented by a company bonus scheme.
